Independent Instructors

Every CFI here is independent. Pick whoever fits your goals and schedule, and work with them directly.

Aircraft tags show each CFI's Flight Circle checkouts. Instructing eligibility can differ — a CFI needs time in type before teaching in it — so confirm with your instructor. Contact info as published on apaflyers.com; 100+ more instructors are available through the club — call Ops for a referral.

Maintenance partner

Centennial Aero-Tech

The club's aircraft maintenance shop, on the field at Centennial Airport.

Centennial Aero-Tech maintains the Centennial Flyers fleet — inspections, repairs, avionics troubleshooting, and squawk turnaround — so club aircraft spend more time on the line and less time waiting on a shop.
Members can also bring their own aircraft. If you own or are buying a plane, the shop handles annuals, 100-hour inspections, pre-buys, and general maintenance.

FAQ

How do I join?

Create a Flight Circle account, then fill out and sign the digital membership packet. After that we'll set up a checkout in the aircraft of your choice. Tap Join the Club in the More menu to get started.

What are the membership dues?

No monthly dues and no initiation fee. $199/year for membership, or $299/year with deductible coverage. 3- and 6-month memberships are also available.

Do I have to be a pilot to join?

No — come earn your Private Pilot License with us. We'll set you up with a world-class independent instructor.

Do I need insurance?

The premium membership includes enrollment in the insurance pool. Otherwise, you'll need proof of non-owned (renters) insurance covering at least the deductible: $5,000 single-engine, $10,000 multi-engine.

Can I rent for multi-day trips?

Yes. We charge a minimum of 2 hours per day average flight time — far friendlier than typical overnight policies.

Can I fly in the mountains?

Our 200+ HP aircraft (excluding the Cirrus SR20) can fly the mountains after special training and a mountain checkout.

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards, plus ACH.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes — gift cards and discovery flights are available in our online store, or call 303-269-1413.

What are your hours?

Office is staffed roughly 8a–5p daily (appointments recommended — we might be out flying). Aircraft scheduling is 24/7/365 once you're a member.

Density Altitude

KAPA field elevation is 5,885 ft. On a warm afternoon your density altitude can top 9,000 ft. Check it before you go.

Density altitude
Pressure altitude
ISA temperature here
ISA deviation
Estimate only. Density altitude is exact; the performance penalty is a rule of thumb. Always use your aircraft's POH performance charts for actual takeoff, climb, and landing numbers.

Beta: access codes identify each CFI. A "Sign in with Flight Circle" login replaces codes after beta.
